See I was going to wait to see if anyone apart from play offers any extras with purchase....in the states it's just madness!

Didn't realise that play were doing artcards with this as an extra - thanks for that.

I pre-ordered HSM 3 from Amazon for £12, so was a bit gutted when I saw it selling for £8 on the day of release, but Amazon refunded me the £4 a few days later without me even asking for it. Dont know if they would do this with Twilight too maybe?

Hmm, thanks for that Chmmy. Maybe I will pre-order then.

jo132000 - I've updated the first post with the info about the exclusive sleeve, thanks. Also, Tesco have reduced their price for the 2 disc so have changed that too.

Couldnt agree more. Absolutely awful film.
This is no HSM or big release so cant see there being any big price cuts on it.

Well my teenage daughter and all her friends absolutely loved the film and I for one as a fan of things like Buffy can't wait to see it, so I've placed my order thanks OP:beer:

Stupid question but is the film better or worse than the books? I started reading the books to see what the fuss is about, am now half-way through Eclipse and am so bored of the stalker/control-freak characters that its a struggle to finish it. Still interested in seeing the film though, depending how similar it is.

I found myself getting bored of the books during the middle of each but then got back into them towards the end of each. The film is very true to the story but also cuts quite a lot out of it. Bella isn't as paranoid, Edward isn't as stalkerish - I think because you don't get to hear their inner monologues.

By the way, if you haven't, read the draft of Midnight Sun - it's Twilight from Edward's point of view. It's only a small amount, it leaked onto the net so Stephenie Meyer put it on her own site, but it makes you understand Edward's character so much more. http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/midnightsun.html
