Hi
Thought it was as good a time as any to start comparing Twilight prices, I know from HSM3 experience that the supermarkets probably won't announce cheap prices until a couple of days before, but here are prices for the main online pre-order sites:
Amazon - 1 disc £11.98, 2 discs £12.98
HMV - 1 disc £11.99, 2 discs £12.99 with exclusive sleeve:

Play - 1 disc £11.99, 2 discs £12.99 and half price poster offer. Art cards also available but don't appear to be in stock.
Tesco - 1 disc £11.96, 2 discs £13.96
All of the above have free delivery.
Any others?

I'd wait a few months for it to hit the bargain bins myself, not that I want that tedious load of old garbage. It will be under a fiver before the Summer arrives. We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0

Couldnt agree more. Absolutely awful film.
This is no HSM or big release so cant see there being any big price cuts on it.0 -
Sorry, shall I retitle the thread "post your opinions on Twilight here"? A lot of people will be interested in getting this on the day it comes out, and would like the cheapest price possible. That's why I started the thread. If you don't want to buy it, why are you reading?
Plus, it is a fairly big release, not as big as HSM but then what film so far this year has been?0 -
I agree with lilian, just because you don't want to buy the DVD it doesn't mean that others won't. Why click on the post if you're not interested??
I've preordered this from Amazon. They have a guarantee that if the price drops between the date I ordered and the date it's released, they will charge the lowest price.:j30/7/10:j

Thanks durham_girl. I'm tempted to pre-order but know a few people got stung with HSM cause Amazon didn't reduce their prices to compete with Tesco and Asda until after the pre-orders had been dispatched.0

I pre-ordered HSM 3 from Amazon for £12, so was a bit gutted when I saw it selling for £8 on the day of release, but Amazon refunded me the £4 a few days later without me even asking for it. Dont know if they would do this with Twilight too maybe?0

See I was going to wait to see if anyone apart from play offers any extras with purchase....in the states it's just madness!Wins for 2022: Hydratem8 Water bottle, diary, flowers, Good food show tickets, childrens books x3,
Thanks to all who post the comps & please let the comping fairy sprinkle dust on my entries!0 -
I think there will be a lot of interest in buying the DVD's my 14 year old daughter and her mates are massive Edward fans. So I will be looking for a bargain.0

There are Twilight midnight release parties going on at Borders stores over there - I wonder if the same thing will happen here?0
