Yeah the wasp nest thing was amazing. How people leap in having grasped the wrong end of the stick.
Cleaver and I are a pair of irritating @holes, I speak mainly for Cleaver there. People will have a go, but in a way it all becomes a part of the banter, the show. It's when I try to make serious points that I get pulled to bits.
So perhaps we are less easy to attack. What's someone going to say? "You are an irritating mindless little twerp". Well OK yeah - now what?
And then we can wait and scheme and plot our revenge, until one day the attacker posts something from the heart, and then in a flash the prepared 'jokey' statement is right there underneath them. I speak mainly for my bitter and twisted self there.
Christ. What a worrying window in to your soul.0 -
I love the term 'rotters'.
It takes me back to a more innocent age of penny whistles, the Famous Five, scallywags, chicken tasting like chicken and northern children with dirty feet joyfully running along cobbled streets whipping along a hoop with a stick.
All well before your living memory.

Well, I think you are both endearing scallywags. So much so that if we were DFWs I'd hug you, so there:p:p
Cleaver and I are a pair of irritating @holes,
Wasp nest thing was funny, I think quite right in a way. *sigh* I remember when I had forum morals.
Treliac....I'd never poke a stick at you
...would I?;)
ETA: see, I can't do it, Treliac, I'd honestly never poke a stick at you.0 -

No, not even a tongue!!
But then I'd probably not notice it if you did?
:rotfl:
ETA: That looks a bit weird.
ETA again: This is my 1000th post. :j0 -

I sometimes feel that the forum contributers are like one of those stomach churning cocktails that come in layers. The bottom layers can cut through the top ones to get to your mouth but still nothing gets all mixed up in the glass, only in the mouth. the layers near the top have no idea there is some sort of icky creme de menthe underneath them.
Treliac, are you saying you want me to lick you? well, ok....if you'd like
:)
ETA: a big tongue on Treliac for the 1000th post!

Thanks for the ETA. It was getting a bit personal before that. Especially with your DH watching.
