Direct Line home insurance-cheaper to get a new policy!!

Direct line have quoted me an online price for house and contents which is £141 cheaper than my renewal quote from the same company. Although the online quote includes an additional discount of 5% it certainly doesn't account for a 40% price difference for the same policy. The advice given to me over the phone by Direct line was to cancel my renewal and take out a new policy as they were unable to match the online price !!!
