Problems with 18185

Hi everyone, i love the money saving site, but i have a problem i was hoping someone could help me with. I signed up to 18185 yesterday, and they state that from uk fixed lines, you can call mobiles for 5p a min (with 4p connection fee). I am with telewest for my line rental, which is the same price but with a different dialing code. But when i called a mobile number today it said 10p per minute . I used the correct dialing code which is 08081703703. So i tried to logon to my 18185 online account, using the correct account number i received in my confirmation email. But i cant even logon to my account as it says, error you've entered the incorrect telephone number/account number. But i have checked both numbers lots of times and they are both correct. I have emailed them and are waiting for a reply. Has anyone else encountered either of these problems? I would be grateful for any feedback. Thank you. :A

Unfortunately their tariff is different calling from mobiles and from non-BT landlines - http://www.call18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php
If you look in the MSE Callchecker, you'll find other providers to call mobiles, starting for now at 4p per minute, and using 0844 or 0871 numbers. These don't have an account set up, and the relevant charge goes on your bill. Most non-BT landlines charge the same rates for these numbers.0 -
I am having same problem with both my 1899 and 18185 a/cs.Its happened before they will fix it.
The 5p a minute (4p) connection call rate only applies from BT lines using 18185 access number.Different charges apply if you use the 0808 cable access number.
See: http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.phpPF.0 -
So you think the prices are higher on non bt lines?!!!!!!!!Bingo Mad!!!!!!!!:beer:0

Yes they are!
EG. Mobile Calls peak/evenings using 18185 access 5p a minute.
Mobile Calls for same period using 0808 access 10p a minute.
(Connection charge of 4p applies in both cases).
Consider https://www.discountdial.co.uk 0844 428 90 90 4p a minute to UK Mobile.(Telewest will apply 6p connection charge).PF.0 -
