We would like to apologise unreservedly for the server issues that we experienced at roughly 1:55pm today. Despite a number of calls to our hosting company prior to launch, and being assured that the site would not crash, as you will no doubt be aware the site went down for roughly 20 minutes - and only returned intermittently after that until the traffic 'tailed off' somewhat. We are aware that this was frustrating for everybody, as much as it was for us.

Bingo, same here. And the people who entered more than once and/or got their boyfriend/mum etc to enter too, or who have won more than once; I hope they get reduced to one per person/household and the rest of us get a fair shot. I got the "draw" confirmation which others' communications seemed to imply meant I had actually won.

Hmmm. I entered around 2:10-15 and got the message that I'd been successful but I am not on the list either. :-( Am I too a victim of the server? I feel quite sad now. *sob*

If this is a firm chaging a yearly membership, I would have thought they have the professionalism not to publish duplicated entries, irrelevant of what the mass email said. A thoroughly unprofessional debacle this was.
