I don't think the analogy is accurate in terms of Physics. A bounce (elastic properties) should decrease in amplitude with time and settle to a fixed level and remain there once "deadYep, all the analysts calling it a dead cat bounce, so it just might have some legs beyond today.

Don't worry, imho you'll get an opportunity to stock up at lower prices than this, if it's equities you're after.I hope it isn't up as I want to put some money in but can't do it until end of May. Then leave until recovery(5-6 years)and pullHope for the best.....Plan for the worst!
