got a call first thing on Monday morning from the platinumringcompany.com, they were horrified by the mistake and asked me to return the ring ASAP to rectify the situation.

Its also worth remembering that the cost of gold and precious metals have increased significantly in the last year so it would be very unlikely that the ebay seller concerned would be selling anywhere near the cost quoted.....
