Does anyone know the pros and cons of electric Vs gas underfloor heating ?
I am building an extension and this will be the only form of heating in the open plan lounge and kitchen area.
Which one is best ?

water needs more planning
electric easiest to install0 -
We have a large extension coming off of our kitchen, and had electric underfloor heating fitted. Our boiler didn't have the capacity to cope with additional heating, hence the electric option. We shopped around and found the best deal for a large floor, supplied and installed, was at Travis Perkins, who use the Floor Warming Company. So many shoes, so little time....0

Thanks Jayne.
How has the electric heating performed ?
Is it the only form of heating and does it heat the room ?

have it done in the extension / new kitchen.
Be warned - it keeps the floor warm, but does NOT heat up the room! Also have wall mounted heaters as well ....
Having looked around, done extensive research and been to people's homes that have it installed, the best place for advice was here
