legoland on the cheap?

  • https://www.lastminute.com - type in legoland - they have 1/2 price tickets 27 march-27 april..... also https://www.travelodge.co.uk type in legolands postcode and it will bring up the nearest travelodge - they are doing rooms for £10- as ive just booked one!
  • Firstly, join the Legoland kids Club online. My personal experience:

Tesco Clubcard Deals are the best for Legoland.
Once you have your membership number (email them if it seems to be taking an age - they send the number back to you), take it with you on the day, apply for a full annual pass £57.50 - they give you a really good discount (I think about £15 for being a member of the club + the full cost of the 1-day pass of £23.00 (obviously you would have paid only £5.75 in Tesco vouchers).

You will get a full annual pass for less than the price of a 1-day entrance!! You don't save as much for the adult one but at least they deduct the full price of the 1-day entrance ticket if you want an annual pass as well! Of course, you don't have to pay for kids under 3 years old.

If you don't do Clubcard deals then any discounted ticket you buy will still be deducted from the annual pass cost!! Have fun!

Forgive me if I got carried away - if it does not make sense, just tell me, if you are grateful, just thank me!!

    I haven't got one!
  • which travelodge is this please? im being lazy i know!!

there is one in Staines too (in the town centre). About 10 minute drive away.
  • I have a booking for the Newbury Travelodge for 25th and 26th of March, but we can't go at that time. As it was a tenner a night deal I can't get a refund. Instead of wasting them, does anyone know if I can try and sell them on ebay or are they non transferable as well?

    Cheap Legoland suggestions:

    1) Lastminute.com - have cheap tickets (£15 = adult prices) at the moment
    2) Blue Peter badges - enables kids to go free
    3) Tesco clubcard vouchers

    Hope that helps !

The Mirror is doing a offer. Collect 4 tokens, and you get a free ticket to Legoland (child or adult), which must be used before June 30. The tokens are being printed till Friday, so you still have time to collect if you start tomorrow latest. You'll need the forms which will be printed tomorrow. You also get two tickets to the Dungeons , two tickets to Sea Life centres and two tickets to Sea Life Sanctuaries (these three places, you get one ticket to use before June 30, the second ticket from July 1 to 31).

It' strictly one application per household, so my retired neighbour has agreed for me to use his address to apply for my second lot of tickets! Bless him. Then, to reduce any trouble at the cashier at Legoland (just in case) I'll bring in two kids, and my husband can use the other ticket separately.

The only snag is you have to allow 28 days for delivery, so you may or may not miss your daughter's birthday, unless you get her to agree to do it when the tickets arrive.

As has been mentioned, there is an offer of £15 flat rate at https://www.lastminute.com for adults and kids.

Unfortunately, I've rung up and there are only 9 rides that kids under 0.9 m can go on, even not allowed on adults' laps. So I've been measuring my 2 1/2 year old, who is only a few cm shorter, and getting his shoes on to try again, and wondering if I can add something in his shoes to make him that little bit taller!!! It's no fun otherwise, waiting for one hour in a queue and watching my other half take our other two girls.
