Hi can anyone give me advice on what is best to see in New York. We are going on 4 March to 7 March so time is limited. Also can anyone tell me best stores and best restaurants to eat at. We are staying in the Westin in Times Square.

I went last March - very cold - wrap up.
Try Smith and Wollenskys steak house - delicious huge portions - you'll have to google for the address.
Also, some great pizza places in Greenwich Village - have a wander around.Karma is a wonderful thing.

Bubba Gumps in Times square is good- run Forest ,run.Seafood, steak, chocolate brownies etc. Also Virgils real barbecue ,152 West 44th Street,(American regional cooking) also in times squares Theatre district. though neither of these are budget. Da Nico Italian Restauraunt,164 Mulberry Street, (Lower East side,Little Italy, has a lovely courtyard garden, and north of here is the trendy NoLita district, with upscale boutiques ,while Chinatown is not far away.Diners serve average food in huge cheap platefuls, and New York has just so many food establishments you wont starve.Remember to budget for tipping.0
