Hi all,

Yes, me again!

Looking for family room (quad) in Hong Kong. Heard bad things about Chung King Mansions' hostels......

Anyone recommendations..I'm going all square-eyed having looked at loads online!!

Oh, got my Sydney one sorted (YHA) so this is my last request!

There are a few cheaper hotels with family rooms. Try the YMCA Salisbury, the Hotel Benito and the Shamrock.
  • Thanks for the help....unfortunately our budget is much tighter!! Hence the hostels.....

Where are you thinking of staying in hong kong?
    When are you going?
  • We're going January 5th to 8th...

Don't mind which area but only there for couple of days....maybe Kowloon.

    Hi there,
Kowloon, try acesite(https://www.acesitehotel.com). A few streets away from ladies market, 2 rooms to a floor, i think it might be cheaper if you phoned up.

Harbour plaza in tin shui wai, its a bit out of the main part, but its cheap, and its a lovely hotel, (also stayed at this hotel).

Let me know if you need any thing else, my aunt works in hk, and she usually gets me good prices.

Have you looked on Tripadvisor? There is lots of useful information in the Hong Kong forum. Someone there might be able to help in your search. I have only stayed in the YMCA in a harbour view room so not sure on hostels in HK. Fantastic city though!
