daughter got a new maths teacher who she so dislikes and i know im going to struggle to get her to enjoy maths and english now.. as im moving in time for her to go to secondary and fighting to get her a place i anticipate her off for 10 weeks in the summer time so i dont want her to fall to far behind so im looking at getting her extra tuition have seen the above advertised in the primary times the kids bring home. going for a taster session next monday but was wondering if anyone had any dealings good or bad..

    Hi there,

Have you looked at the BBC Revisewise stuff? Not sure how old your daughter is though, sorry.

Letts also do some excellent revision guides that I use sometimes in my teaching - I'm a primary teacher. They have an excellent selection of different revision books in WHSmiths (the one at Serpentine Green is good) or Waterstones.

If you need any help, just PM me and I can look at the other things that I use - providing your daughter is within my age limit (teaching Year 6 at the mo).
