    Eon Standard Electricity (South Wales)
    - 27.9195 first 900
    - 11.823 for the rest
    inc VAT

    It's horrendously expensive :(
For my usage of 3,500kWh/year it works out at 15.9p/kWh!

Agreed. Not tempted to switch? Or even move on to another eon tariff - there must be one cheaper for you, surely?

Are you not getting a discount ?

I pay similar "headline" rates with Eon but get an 18% discount on the total bill, which makes it much cheaper than most.

No discount (how do i get one?), and there isn't much around that would make it worth switching. I dont want to pay a service charge as i am renting and might end up moving in 6months. Also, south Wales appears to be VERY expensive for electricity. The same tariff for my old house is approx 25% cheaper :(
  • CHOC, is that for electric. Im on E7 and mines slightly dearer. I live in the east anglian region

For example if you pay by direct debit, it'll save you 6%.
