I am going to a wedding in Ireland in Maynooth in Kildare near Dublin in July and am looking for accomadation for my family. The wedding is in Barberstown Castle and having taken a look at the room rates at the castle have decided that a cottage hire would be far cheaper and better for my family. Does any one know where I can start looking??? Many thanks in advance

I used to use a great website called transatlan but unfortunately they have closed their Irish cottage site down. The Irish Tourist Board might be a good place to start...or google
I just tried "cottage ireland maynooth" and it brought over 30,000 hits.
Watch out for some of the agencies they overcharge and have a great trip.0 -
We have had some great deals from Stena Holidays https://www.stenalineholidays.co.uk, they do an all in price for ferry and cottage, but you normally need to book for a week at a time. The real deals are out of season when you get 2-for-1 etc.
Get their brochure, its better than their website.
