how many times a week are you running now..sorry all the questions just impressed by how quickly you have improved your distance!
Sally, I am trying to do four runs a week, as suggested by the running coach on the weekend. He suggested a recovery run, a hill run, a threshold run and a long run.
I discovered it was a mixture of my own fear of not being able to manage running without stopping for a rest and mixed ability of runchums that was holding me back.
We now run seperately three times a week and get together one day a week to do the long run.....we all run together but end up running seperately....the one in front then loops back picks me up on the way back, we then run past slower runchum and then run back again...it means we all run different runs but for the same amount of time....
I have also discovered that I get more into a run after about 5k......and start to enjoy it...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

its been chatty in here this afternoon/evening only just managed to catch up! Had a very productive day but seems the house is a tip again within 10 mins of cooking supper and DH coming home
Early morning running is lush..its hard to get out of bed but its quiet, you can listen to the birds singing and for me I run much quicker and it gets you going for the dayThis is a system account and does not represent a real person.
