A Guide to Moving in

IS there one?
I mean, as a young couple we are set to move into our first house very soon. However we are really lost with everything that needs doing.
We need to sort out Phone/Internet/Water/Gas/Electricity/Sky etc. Then theres TV License, council tax etc
We have no idea where to start, who we need to talk to etc.
Is there a guide anywhere about how to get everything sorted in an easy as possible manner?

good luck...wihc this was around when we moved...make sure u do your research online first - its worth making sure you take readings of ur water, gas and elec on the day you move in, so you not paying for the previous's tenants stuff.
Try set up some accounts before you move in if you can and just let them know the date at which to activate the account.0 -

Relax, take it easy and don't stress about anything... if you forget something for the first few weeks after moving in, it's not the end of the world! Staying upbeat and happy is the important thing.
Of course, nothing beats making a list, and checking everything off. The list will grow as you remember things...0 -
