Have you ever purchased tickets from Worldticketshop? I did, it was one of the worst experiences of my life!! Never again. I didn't receive the tickets, the staff were rude and totally ignored my questions and concerns. Fortunately I paid with my credit card and after the bank did an investigation I received a full refund. The concert venue, Rod Laver Arena do not recommend people purchase tickets from Worldticketshop but legally cannot stop them selling tickets to their events.
Worldticketshop should be made to advertise that they are on selling so that people like myself have some warning of what we are in for before making a purchase.0 -

I'd say there's a healthy balance of good and bad.
And people tend to harp on the net only when they have a bad experience rather than a good one.
Your comment is typical of the attitude of the staff at Worldticketshop.0 -
If you're not a scam sight, how come I've paid you over £300 for take that tickets, sunday 5th june event, I ordered the day they went on sale....yet they haven't arrived. The ONE phone number you have on the website doesn't even work, and I have had no response from emails sent either.
You are scamsters. prove me wrong!worldticketshop wrote: »Worldticketshop is NOT a scam. It's a legitimate business in the Netherlands that has sold over 100,000 tickets. Don't you think that if they were scammers they would be shut down? Holland has very strict consumer protection policies and government watchdogs for businesses that rip people off.

I have emailed worldticketshop 3 times and tried calling everyday up until 1pm yesterday afternoon. at the time of booking tickets, we were given the block and seat numbers of where we'd be sitting. This morning (sunday) the day of the actual event, to which the tickets have not turned up.....we get a phone call from 'Phil'. He doesn't work for worldticketshop apparently, yet he has our tickets for tonights show and wants us to meet him at the hotel IBIS in manchester after 3.30pm. After reading the reviews of worldticketshop it seems to me he's just bought tickets today to sell on. I asked him what block and row the tickets were for and he couldn't tell me. So do I drive all the way over from sheffield to collect tickets from 'Phil'-who doesn't work for worldticketshop but is a simple courier....or not? I think this is worldticketshops way out of giving refunds as they say we offered you your tickets before the event....but on a sunday? ON the website it said the last day for courier service is Friday so we made alternative arrangements and saw the concert last night (saturday). Please avoid worldticketshop at all costs!!!!!!!!!
And if anyone knows how I can fight for a refund, please let me know.0 -
