I think the strength of the Euro in conjunction with our pound being the sick man of Europe is affecting the deals at Aldi. IMHO they are nowhere near as good as they used to be...

For £25 more you can get a Sharp Aquos 32" from Asda.

WE bought an aldi 40inch widescreen lcd, ok for about 6 months then packed in, they brought us 3 replacements but they were all reconditioned and with scratches marks etc, we refused them all and in end got our money back, i wouldnt buy one again, thats just my experience i know. hope it helps

For the sake of an extra £10 - £20 I'd rather have a respected brand.

A Colleague has recently got an LG 32" for £309 from Richer Sounds, which seems excellent.

Dont waste you time with an unknown brand TV. Spend a few quid more and get a name with some backup.
