I'm trying to log onto the Capital One credit card page but my Norton Protection is blocking me continuing with a page that says "Suspicious page - Phishing suspected"
Is anybody else experiencing this or is it just me? I urgently need to look at my account.

Der - well then why ask such a stoopid question?
Obviously the Cap1 site hasn't been hijacked - you know, they do spend a bit of money keeping it safe! I'd suggest your NIS is set-up wrong, failing that stop using IE because it is vulnerable and not recommended for any online banking. Firfox (Mozilla) is safest and Norton takes second place to Firefox, i.e. Firefox overrides Norton cos it is knows whether the site is dodgy or not whereas IE7 and above always listens to Norton.
I reckon you'll find someone has emailed Norton stating the Cap1 site was spam and it's been whitelisted or something. Will get sorted soon.
Hope your brain grows from pea size to orange size someday soon..... bummer having such a small brain, i'm sure...2010 - year of the troll

There are a lot of scripts running on bank pages so try a different browser https://www.firefox.com or IE8.0

I have seen an instance at work where a browser hijack object had somehow got onto the computer which modified the login page for egg. He used the page as you should (load up IE, type in address) but still got caught out by it. He realized soon after and nothing bad happened. But it can happen.
As you say, the best bet is to use FireFox, and to be extra secure use the No Script addon.0 -
I'm a careful internet user, but more than once I have been on HSBC's site and it's asked for my pin and card details. Obviously I didn't put it in, it was a virus. But it said hsbc.co.uk at the top, so worth a check for spyware and viruses.0
