Car Bike Carrier

Hi,
I am after a bike carrier for my car. Ideally a rear mounted one which fits 3 bikes. This would be to fit ford focus M1.
I say rear mounted as I have feeble little arms and think I would struggle with a roof mounted carrier.
I had one from Halford a couple of years ago, it was one of those ones where you have to tighten the straps. I found it came loose and became very unstable as I obviously didn’t have the strength to pull the straps tight enough.
I have done a little research but reviews are mixed. I found a possible one which had good reviews on which? But one site said you it would cover lights and number plate (this was the Thule ClipOn 9101/9103).
Can anyone recommend one for one?
Also - if this post is best placed somewhere else feel free to re-direct it.
Many thanks,
