N/Wide's Flex account - 0% for ever?

I wanted to find out if the 0% Nationwide now pays on it's Flex current account was a permenant decision to move away from being an interest rate paying product, or was a temporary response to current low Base Rate. This was the reply I received:
"Thank you for your message.
I confirm the 0% interest on your Flex Account is a permanent decision subject to market conditions. Should things improve in the future, then Nationwide may consider changing the rate in which case customers will be notified accordingly. "

'Permanent' in this sense simply means they haven't put a specific time on it - a semantic difference - IMO.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0
