Details on the Woolwich website. Look under 'Bonds'. 5% for 9 months would appear to me to be a good offer, particularly as interest rates are expected to fall soon.
    Key Points:
    • No risk to the money you invest
    • Guaranteed interest rates for the term of the bond
    • Terms available from six months to three years.
    • Open a bond with just £500.
    • Interest can be paid either monthly, annually or upon maturity of the bond
    • You can't withdraw your money during the term of the bond

Do you know what is necessary to apply for the bond?
Do you need to open also an account with Woolwich or Barclays or can you just have the bon with them?
