Second-hand sink

I'm replacing our countertops and sink with a nearly new stainless 1.5 bowl sink and 40mm laminate countertop.
The sink is in excellent condition except that some of the clips to hold it to the counter are missing and a length of the seal under the rim is missing. I'd like to replace these before fitting but can't find anywhere that sells these sort of spares. Is this something I can get separately form the sink?
Also do I need to seal the chipboard that is exposed once I cut out the hole for the sink or do i rely on the seal under the sink rim to stop the water from getting in and what would I seal it with?
Thanks
K

  • i'm sure if you send me a private message i can send you some clips for the kitchen sink!!(have some knocking about in the van somewhere...)

to seal the work tops, get some pva wood glue and smear onto the cut surfaces to seal the wood or silcone sealeant(clear is better) or that kind of thing!!
