  • Received similar yesterday to a Hotmail address. Along with a regular constant barrage of stuff from very rich people in Africa who have just inherited millions, plus various banks with whom I don't have an account!
Didn't even open it, immediately deleted as the o p should do/have done.
The rather large clue is I haven't entered any lotteries of any description.

I forward my e-mails like that to police saying they should be looking into the attempted frauds. If more did this they may start taking action and make it public that they are investigating this type of scam.

If I could find an e-mail address for my local police then I would! They're possibly scared of receiving too many complaints by that method on top of the written ones?
Police - what police, never see them?

    The Police won't do anything.

Send them to the email provider and ask them to close down the account.

This is why we still get these emails and letters. There are still some who believe them.

Sad reading really, elderly people from a different era where people were mostly honest, being sickenly conned by these lower than pond life scum. I would love to bump into one of these conning !!!!!!!s, I would tear their limbs off.

Then why wasn't this the end of your wondering whether or not you won?
