where to transfer my pot to next ? avoiding CCs run by MBNA/Egg/RBS
I've just paid off my 0% Cap 1 card, so will call to cancel on Friday following cleared funds, also requesting 0% extension - you never know.
That'll leave me with AmexPlat - for cashback,
Virgin[mbna] £14k pot 0% period ends week 1 April, will request extension,
Egg 0% £14k anniversary pot until 1 Jul,
Mint[rbs] 0% £7k pot until 1 Nov
I need a home for my Virgin money to transfer to , if I applied for A&L or MBNA direct for the 9mths 0% offer before my Virgin is closed would I get a half decent credit limit to use their 0% chqs with ?
Am I best trying Halifax/Lloyds or other provider to get the transfer done, or are there other providers that have 0% on chqs, not really fussed on transferring to Virgin just maintaining my pot?

I've just done sort of the same thing but in reverse. Had an MBNA Platinum (15k limit, 0 balance) that hadn't been used for a few months. Applied for Virgin and got a telephone call a few days later asking if I wanted to keep the MBNA Platinum, with an offer of transferring the whole credit limit over to the Virgin if I chose to cancel it.
Result: Closed MBNA Platinum (which I would have done anyway) and 15k at 9mths with Virgin
