Scottish Gas
Hi everyone, just thought I should warn you about switching providers.
Last July (08) , just before prices started to rise significantly I took advice through this site to switch from my current provider to Scottish gas under a deal that would have been 5% dearer than my then provider, but significantly less than at present, and fixed until christmas this year. I believe there was also another small financial incentive added in as well.
I rang up Scottish gas today to query why my old provider was still billing me to be told that it had been cancelled by themselves as they needed the numbers of the individual meters. They had already sent me a welcome pack and said there was nothing for me to do. Noone had asked for more information. They said they would however honour the agreement, but I'm afraid I didn't have much faith in their service, and since never having a problem with my current provider (Scottish Hydro) told them to stick it.:mad:
