  • Hi all,

Typically, just when I am sorting things out, this bombshell is dropped on my lap.

In some ways I am lucky, as in January I became Mrs Tightwad and was being so DFW that apparently I was not much fun to be around, but in hindsight it was lucky really, cos otherwise I'd still have a huge credit card bill on 18% APR instead of cutting it down on to two 0%'s and having only about £3k left on the MBNA.....

I have been doing my CV today and have been thinking of other ways to cut back, which I have already put the balls in motion.

I have a couple of agency appointments too lined up. I have told as many people as possible that I am being made redundant, and as luck would have it, two friends know of two jobs going, so they might be feasible...... though due to my debts I do need a fairly good salary and so I am limited in that way, but being a DFW I am now a fighter and who knows, I may end up with a job that pays even more!!! and my DFD will be even closer. Wouldnt that be a turn up for the books?

DH is not quite panicking, though I keep waking up in the night with my mind whirring.

I am still doing my daily clicks - heaven knows why really but I am..... May spend some time tomorrow ebaying things.

MIL has also been very sweet.

So even though I feel rotten, I don't feel as bad as I didnt. On the plus side, I haven't burst into tears today. So that's progress for ya!

Thanks for all the kind words - I need them, that's for sure.
