Will done over 1 and a half years ago, going to probate..help?

    It's £5 now. York Probate registry. Yes, the will of a deceased person which has had probate granted becomes a public document, and shows - sort of - how much money someone had, too.

    Fiance has booked an appointment on Monday with a new solicitor who will obtain a copy of the will and they will go from there.
