im a student who is hoping to start uni in september and had a summer job working in a call centre - i worked there for around 6 weeks before gettin laid off - i was supposed to recieve the money i earned (just short of £1000) on 3 seperate occasions and all 3 times they failed to pay me. the idea was to earn and save up 4 the beginning ov uni year.
They now have gone bust and phone numbers/email addresses etc all are useless i travelled down there 2 times and there is nobody left in the offices. i am entiteled to that money and surely must be illegal of them not to pay me??
as a student i have never experienced such problems and thought this would be agood place to come for advice before i act ??
the only information i have is a phone number for ACAS however i am struggling getting throught at the moment - i will keep trying.
thanks in advance.
