Tmobile - No Signal

Good afternoon.
Can anyone advise on my rights on the following. I lost the signal on my mobile phone whilst at home. The signal would return when I travelled away from home. I reported the problem to tmobile and they advises that there was a problem in the area of which they were dealing with. I understand that things go wrong and a week later when the signal didn;t return, I renewed my contract with tmobile. As the signal still didn't return when at home, i contacted tmobile who advised that they were still drealing with the problem.
Three weeks on, two phone calls and two emails to tmobile, the problem still hasn't been rectified. I'm lucky if i get one bar of signal on my phone where as it's always been a full signal. It's not the handset as the problem started before i upgraded to my new handset.
I've looked on the Consumer Direct website but there's not much info to advise where i stand on this matter.
Any advice?

By your own admission you get some signal, not just as strong as you are used too, furthermore unless tmobile specifically told you that there is a strong signal at your home address you have no claims.
One would ask why you would renew a contract you knew there was issues with.0 -
if they have advised it is a problem that they are aware of and dealing with i would push for a reduction in line rental until its sorted. you wont be able to cancel your upgrade, its too late for that, but from what you say it sounds like they have admitted there is a problem currently which means they should be able to reduce your line rental or give you some form of discount. the problems start if they dont admit or havent admitted there is a problem, in which case you upgraded knowing that you had poor signal which doesnt really give you a good standing point - you had a good chance to cancel the contract. they would argue in this case that a mobile phone is mobile and therefore you can use it elsewhere.Mummy to

You dont have a leg to stand on if you renewed a contract knowing there was bad signal in the area, If its T-mobile then they wont lower your contract till the last month. If its long term they may give you a good will gesture, But their terms and conditions cover them on that they cannot guarentee 100% signal at all times. You had 7 days when you upgraded to cancel, Only if the upgrade was taken out over the phone/internet. After that, Your stuck.0

You don't have a case in this matter.
