Advice for Larger Brides

Aw thanks rainforest , there was no shop as such nowhere did larger size matty wear 4 years ago I think I've seen some on the simplybe website recently though, but you think evans would carry a basic range wouldn't you.
My MIL to be has recently experienced the horrors, she was looking for an outfit for the big day went into a posh ladieswear shop and was told that she (mil to be)had no call to wear formalwear with her fat arms and bottom!!! WHy would anyone say such a hurtfull thing to someone who might be spending money and keeping you in business?

I sincerely hope she sent a strong complaint to the head office!! I would have been raging if someone I knew had been treated in that way.:mad:

How sick is that, I do hope she filed a complaint!!!:mad::mad::mad:

After all, there are wrong sizes, only wrong clothes!!! If the bride is happy and confident it will show!

It was the owner of the shop who spoke to her like this, not a chain and hopefully not in business for much longer, poor thing it really knocked her.
I know I moan about her but this sounded wicked.

I know I think it's partly that sort of thing that's made me PLUMP for a Landy/milly dress (see wot I did there lol) still not decided on that 1.
I'm not sure what I'd have done myself, I know I'd have been crushed.
