Internal photos online

Not sure if this has been covered elsewhere, but I've been looking at rightmove / findaproperty recently and it is a major turn-off for me when no internal photos of the property are shown. Although 'kerb-appeal' (God help me for using that phrase!) is most important to me, I'd really like to see the inside of somewhere before deciding to view. Does anyone else think like this?

I know that some places are going to be total wrecks inside decor-wise and this is likely to be the reason for not putting photos up, but I'd like to get an idea of space/potential etc before viewing. As it is now, if there are no internal photos and the outside of a property doesn't grab me immediately, I discount it.

yea i know what you mean, i would rather one internal photo, or even a back of house shot/ garden ect rather than just the facia.

I like as many photos as possible but I'd take a floor plan over photos of inside if I had to choose.

Surely, if property has been placed on Rightmove by an agent, it's a case of

    1. follow links to agent's website
    2. view photos there. If no agent's website, get contact details and
    3. phone agent, ask if photos available; by e-mail or on particulars
    4. if so, ask them to mail or e-mail you the pictures or particulars

    Look BEYOND Rightmove...

I see where you're coming from Googler, but a seller's EA is supposed to be enticing the buyers. If I was the seller, I would be pushing the EA to make a buyer's job as easy as possible: I'm looking on rightmove for sheer convenience, navigating all over the place isn't hard, but it's not quite as handy.

From my limited experience often there are no photo's on the advert when they think the photo's could do more harm than good!

When we were looking at houses, we had that many to go through, if they never put more than one picture on we wouldn't bother unless it looked a bit special from the outside. I'm sure people have less spare time now, so can't follow up every single house based on one picture alone.

If i was buying something for £100 of the internet i would want to see pictures. If somebody is trying to sell something for tens or hundreds of thousands, then they can surely take more pictures. In my opinion, it's down to the fact there is something a miss, or the seller/EA is too lazy, for those reasons i'm not wasting my time, following it up.

I am in disbelief again about the poor service being given by many EA's. I used to have minimum 10/12 shots and up to 24 where the place was that photogenic. Yes is is much more work for the EA and some just can't use the camera.

One small point, that could be the case, is that some sellers do NOT want internal shots. And not always the sellers with the tatty insides.
