Can I Get Government Help If I Get A New Apprentice?

Options
I'm thinking of taking on a new apprentice and was just wondering if there is any type of help available.
I run a small business from home and employ 1 man full time but we have started to get more busy lately and need help with our work load, I would like to employ a young lad to learn the basics etc. but don't think we can afford the wages.

any advice would be great

thanks

  • Depending on your trade and the age of the person you take on, I think there is a range of grants available. You could try the Construction industry website or government website. I'm sure there is plenty of advice out there - hopefully someone will come along with some useful links.
