What would you do -??

Bought a VCD of a movie my daughter likes.

It arrived and I opened the case to find it was on 2cd`s (not stated on the auction), The first CD was an original, but the 2nd CD was a copy, which someone had written the title on.

This wasn`t mentioned in the auction. I am dissapointed and abit hacked off.

Going to email the seller about it, but not sure how to word it. They have 100% feedback, as do I - but this VCD is rubbish and the quality is terrible !!

I'd ask for a full refund and say if they want the discs back say you aren't paying the return postage as one at least is a copy which is not acceptable to you. If you have no luck that way then file an item not as described complaint and do not close it if asked until you have the refund.

VCD movies almost always come on two discs
they use the older, MPEG1 codec that isnt as good as the newer Mpeg2 (as used on DVD's) or MPEG4 (as used in DIVX)

so, quality will be relativley crap, there is no issue there

as for the second being a copy, thats where your issue lays, and thats where you can rightfully ask for a refund / replacement / discount

I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

Emailed straight after posting my post on here yesterday and have had no reply, although I know they have been online, as they listed some new items.
    Including some other Disney VCD`s

Mmm, Its only for a small amount, but i`m still annoyed.

Am I being to picky, should I do a chargeback ?

Keep pushing for a refund from the seller. Just because they have put new items up does not necesarily mean they have been online. There are tools that can be set to list items at a certain time in your absence.

I've had similar issues with a total lack of correspondance from the seller. Eventually I raised it up to eBay who then contacted the seller and advised them to contact me. Did manage to get a full refund. But it all depends on what you and the seller agree to. You also always have the threat to them of leaving negative feedback.
