Motorbike Insurance Claim, is it too late?

Hello,
Back on may 2007 my partner had an accident on his bike caused by Third Party.
His bike was damaged on the right side.
His bike was taken in by a garage as advised by his insurers so they could do an accident report.
They had the bike for several months.
When we got the bike back, we did notice 3 'screw' holes on the 'dashboard'- where the clocks are. but did not really pay much notice. The holes were not caused by accident, because only right side of bike was damaged, and everything on dashboard is intact.
Recently, the holes have caused water damage to the electrics of the bike.
I know we should have really brought this up with the garage at the time, but with rebuilding the bike ourselves before the TP paid out, and moving to wales, we didn't really think about it.
I don't know if it is too late to claim for this?
We requested a copy of a damage report at the time they had the bike, twice, but they didn't get us one.
Please help!!

You could try but I don't think you will get any where due to the time elapsed plus I imagine you signed to accept the bike when you picked it up.
You never know though0
