Comparison Sites

Is there a site that shows what all the energy companies charge per KWh for gas and electricity. I have just had a quarterly bill and have used a lot of fuel because of the cold winter but this is not representative of the whole year and I just wondered if there is such a site where I could compare unit costs per company.

No. The longer answer is that there are too many variables - standing charge/no standing charge, tiering boundaries and rates, discounts, regional differences, yada, yada.

If you calculate annual use in kwh (make an adjustment for this winter if you think that would be better for you) and put into comparison site. Then click each tariff at the top of the chart - you should get the figures you want, and more, for each.

If you use the comparison sites in the resource bar above, then click on an individual tariff, it should provide you with all that tariffs details e.g. unit charges, standing charges, discounts, etc.

You can put your estimated annual usage into the comparison sites to give you the most accurate result

Switching sites absolutely all over the place for me at the moment. Just checked energyhelpline and uswitch and got entirely differing results...

Customers need to be careful the comparison sites have incorporated the recent price changes in the tables.

Even though Martin has given the green light for switching now after the round of recent price reductions it would appear not all the changes announced by the suppliers have been implemented on some comparison sites e.g.
