Wilf, My mum makes pea and ham soup with ham shanks - you can probably google and find a recipe. Was just looking for my shepherds pie recipe, but I see Jo has sorted you out. I love shepherds pie with baked beans, mmmm.

Just had lunch -four fishfingers. Debating whether to have some profiteroles that MIL donated to us! We went round last night and came home with four pints of milk, a cooked chicken, two packets of ham, a celebrations tin full of rice, and a big pack of profiteroles. And FIL is going to give me a daphne to put in front of my window! They are very generous and kind.
While fishfingers were cooking I washed up and s&s'd the kitchen so it looks lovely out there again!

ETA:congratulations to your son on going to Menorca!

Wilf - you've just given me the kick up the bum I needed to make me get up and do a 60 in 60 - thankyou!

My list is finished but the day didn't get off to a good start as our 12 year old dog has started with her colitis again....everywhere, her bed, the floor, the castors on the computer table, down the side of the floor where the skirting isn't fitted yet....oh joy. Bless her, it's not her fault!

Poorly cat was at the vets again this morning. Her ear has got a bit worse again so they've given her another antibiotic jab and will do her again in two weeks! At £40.00 a time i'm trying not to panic....she is insured though so we will get it back it just takes ages. She's very happy and eating and sleeping and jumping on us in the middle of the night for a cuddle - bless her!

    Right, i'm off to do a 60 in 60.

Hugs to everyone but especially tootles and g&b - massive hugs xx
