Hi there,
I would like to open a one year bond within the next week with a relialble uk institution with full uk protection on my money. I'm not really that interested with 2 years bonds from places such as abbey and allioance and leicester. I also notice that the one year bonds are now finished with places such as the cheshire and derbyshire, both now offering only 2 year bonds. A lot of the savings website havent got really updated info as regards above.
What do you think of the aa (taking deposits for bank of scotland I believe) Its offering 3.75% and I would like to get this rate with either the aa or any other uk bank that you might be kind enough to reccomend to me.
All suggestions gratefully received.
Many thanks
Joe
