A way to volunteer with benefits

Hey! As a student, Im always looking for ways to boost my CV and whan i heard of this i just had to let you know about it. It involves volunteering for scouts as a helper/activity leader. therefore, you take part in all the activities yourself but your helping the members of scouts because without any volunteers there would be no scouts!
I put it in this thread as it certainly comes under how to give to other people because you would be providing a way for wana be scouts to fulfill their wants and make them happy that they can join. As a volunteer, obviously it can do wonders for your CV and any other charity events you want to take part in, this would be a great boost!
why not give something back to society while having heaps of fun??

There are also other Youth Organisation who are always looking for adult volunteers such as the Air Cadets. There are also qualifications available for the Adult Volunteers and so if you are looking for recognition of what you do it is worth looking into it. aircadets.org There are almost 1000 units in the UK so there should be one near you !!
