Hi
Can anyone offer advice or guidance PLEASE ??
We booked a Flight with Virgin to Las Vegas on the 05.01.06 for November 2006 over the phone giving all details including our credit card and I was given a Booking Reference and told payment had gone through !
I had been told when booking to contact them if i did not recieve a confirmation email. when this did not arrive I emailed them, I recieved an auto response but nothing else. then I phoned them and was told all was fine and the payment had gone through.
Now 40 days later i have recieved an email from them saying they have tried to take payment for the flight and it has been declined. Having checked on my account no call has ever been made on my account for payment.
I am concerned that having been told twice that the flights had been paid for by Virgin it now seems my booking never went through depsite my best efforts to communicate with them.
Do you think I have cause for complaint to Virgin for calling on a payment 40 days after my telephone booking was made.

I booked our flights in the jan sale as well though over the net, booked around the 3rd and flew on the 13th though it took them a week to take the payment though we got confirmation straight away. Call them first thing (very little waiting time) to confirm your booking they should be able to sort it out.0

If you have a booking ref there shouldnt be a problem i would have thought. The only reason I can think of for payment not to have been taken is if one number was wrong on your card or if issue or expiry date was wrong.0
