I am planning something similar for my wedding reception in May - again with the top cake being from M&S.
My one Q is how mnay cakes did you make and how long did it take you??
My mum is worried that I will be too stressed to actually have the time to make them.
what a lovely idea this is very effective
if you were to attempt this you could always
bake your cakes and then freeze them and
then just get them out and defrost them
nearer the time its just a case of icing and decorating
them, save getting too stressed nearer the date.
Plus as its around 48 cakes if you get someone to
help you maybe a few friends its only 12 each to decorate
sounds quite do able and you will save your self a
small fortune as these types of cakes are really expensive
in the cake shops:j:j:j0
