Please Recommend Paint Shade

Could anybody recommend a cream shade of paint for my living room. There are so many to choose from i would appreciate any recommendations so i could get a tester pot to try myself.

It might be useful to take some samples of your room decor when you go to buy the paint. If you have a small offcut of carpet and curtain material, these can give you an idea of which shade(s) will be suitable for the room.
