Advice needed re opening Bank Account in Spain

Hi all
My daughter is going out to Spain at the end of the month for four months work and will need to open up an account in Spain. Any ideas how she will do this

Just walk into any bank with her passport and cash and open it.She will need a non-residents account which will require a british address.
Its not like the UK,you dont need all that credit search crap as long as you have money you can get an account.
By the way i live in Spain and have done this my self.0 -
If she has any problems, she could just ask someone at the new work - I'm sure they can help (this is what my bro did when he moved abroad)0

Thanks for your replies, i did go into a branch of the Abbey who advised she would probably need an Identity Card? Not sure if this is the same as getting a NIE.0
