Anyone have any ideas on a show and hotel package for my inlaws (in their 70s) in London late May.
They live in nottingham so will be train as well.
Some ideas on prices and where to stay would be great, I dont really know where to start to keep the cost down.
Prob two nights needed

I have used Top table to get good discounts on Dinner. They also do Theatre discounts.
Top Table
Excellent site for Theatre tickets and where to sit etc (Theatre monkey)
Good independant source of Theatre tickets (See Tickets)
Never used these but possibly worth a look
Superbreaks
Coach Travel may be the cheapest option, though a long journey and the station at Victoria is a little inconvenient.0 -
Just for info really and not to be pedantic but SEE are a subsidary of Really Useful a group who are maybe slightly biased. What sort of show do they want to see as this will effect the price of tickets.
A great place to Start for both would be ready made Packages which are suprisingly good value sometimes.
Try Last minute.com they currently are booking to the april 1st.

My current favourite is 'The Producers' but they might not like the humour.
You can get good deals in first class off peak on the train from Nottingham to St Pancras if you book well in advance. I'd avoid the end of may Bank Holiday weekend.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
The producers is great but i agree it's not everyones taste if you go for this though there was an advert in the Culture Section of the Times last Sunday for ticket reductions through Spring I think you have to phone the Box Office and say a Phrase (sprintime .......????) depending on when you book tickets were upto half price.0
