HSBC Balance Transfer

I had my application for a balance transfer approved at the begining of January. I sent my agrement form off right away, the blurb says I should have received my card witin 10 days. I still haven't got it, I've phoned twice and they say there is a back log. Does it usually take so long? 0

yep I applied 18th dec received my card last week nearly 2 months wait and still waiting for the balence transfer to get credited to my old virgin account they put it down to shear number of applications mmm0

I was lucky being an HSBC current account holder, I spotted the CC account when checking my current account online - did the BT there and then. Got the confirmation letter, then wondered where the card was. It turned up 10 days after I'd BT'd. In total it took 3 weeks from me doing the phone application to the card appearing on my online banking0
