We had people come into my work from the DWP and they gave us the guidelines and said that redundancy amount (for conts JSA) didn't matter but pay in lieu and holiday pay did. I got 46 weeks redundancy money but no pay in lieu and no holiday pay and got conts JSA from 8 Jan (three waiting days after I signed on on 5 January). You may be right about changes though because they seem to change the rules every 5 minutes as far as I can see!

You've given me something to think about. Iv'e just put in a new claim and I go next week so I'll ask about redundancy whilst I'm there. I might not get anywhere and if they were in the wrong I might not get the money they owe me but at least I'll have pointed it out.

Please ignore me. You made me think they had ripped me off bigtime so I just found the paperwork from last year. Seems I was wrong I got all my figures muddled up but my own paperwork and notes of phone convos shows me I was wrong.
