Sky Digi Box

My sky box appears to have devoloped a fault ie NO SATTELITE SIGNAL IS BEING RECEIVED I presumed that it was covered by a 1 year guarantee. After contacting sky help they told me to contact them and they will send a technician to come out and check the box and if it proves to be faulty they will replace it with a refurbished box with a 90 day warranty. I would have expected a new box as a relacement not a used one. Anyone else had this problem.

Sounds like its your Sattelite cable, how long you had this prob, cause theres been snow in places today and thant can disrupt the signal.
Try unscrewing the sattelite cable and plugging it in tightly. Maybe thats your prob?0 -
Hi
I get this message from time to time. I do one of two things, either a) change channels (it seems to reset itself) or b) turn everything off at the wall and put it back on again after 1 minute which seems to reset the machine. Not sure if you have done this already but you never know.
HTHI got there - I'm debt free and intend to stay that way. If I haven't got the cash, it doesn't get bought. It's as simple as that.0
