Replacement 900mm length kitchen cupboards doors

Can anybody help please?
I live in a rented house and the kitchen cupboard doors are awful (cheap, nasty and falling to pieces)! The landlord (HA) won't replace them at the moment as it's on their 'rolling programme'. anyway I decided to bite the bullet and replace them myself but I can't find inexpensive, off-the-peg replacement doors for my wall units which are 900mm in length (base units not a problem).
I've trawled around the usual High Street DIY shops, Homebase, B & Q, Wickes etc but none have doors of this length. I know that I could get them made but I don't want to pay too much. All I want is a cheap option so that I don't cringe everytime I walk into my kitchen.

I bought sheets of MDF and cut the doors to size. I'm not a joiner but have a little basic DIY skill. I borrowed an electric saw and took my time. I was able to buy a drill bit to make the holes for the hinges which I took off the existing doors, I then painted the new MDF doors and added knobs.
This allowed me to upgrade my kitchen for under £150 prior to selling the house.0 -

Hi, Have a look at this place, very good quality and various sizes including 895mm high, also cheaper than B&Q, I have put a link into the high gloss white which are slightly more than others, but the site is pretty comprehensive

Thanks - this is by far the best I've seen so far.
I am just about to order my own kitchen and have been looking for some time and doing my homework, I went to their factory three weeks ago and was very impressed with the way the cabinets were made in the factory, I think they buy in the doors, but all seemed high quality, also they have been in business a good few years. But if it is only the doors you need, I think they are very competitive?0 -
You will get 895mm doors from PWS (such as the Avant in the link) Burbidge, Uform, Bella, Ormrod or just about any door manufacturer or distributor...
If you're looking for high gloss white or cream doos, then I would recommend Uform, as they use a laquered door (opposed to the vinyl doors everyone else uses) which have a better, more hard wearing finish and are actually cheaper...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

You can find the Uform website here: http://www.kitchenstori.com/
Click on where to buy and click on the map that should take you to your nearest retailer (there aren't a lot of them though)If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Hi - thanks for the post. I'm probably being dumb but do you have a link for the above? I've clicked on the PWS website but can't find Uform or a price list.
Hi Pont, I recently fitted a new kitchen supplied by Andy at (small company, very customer focussed) http://www.selffit.co.uk/Public/
But needed some extra units & doors that he couldn't supply (strange shape/size) so finally found http://www.diy-kitchens.com/
It's worth having a look here if you just want new doors as they have seemingly every size on the planet and their prices are pretty much the lowest we found.
