Would you mind if I asked you how much it cost you to put this system in? (Personal financial info I know, so I understand if you don't want to say)

    Thanks

Depends on how you feel about eco systems and such but if you look at the CAT website, or ring their info service, http://www.cat.org.uk/ they will be able to help with advice and the latest tech to help with waste water etc.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

    Thanks

The Biodisc Treatment Plant cost me around £2,500 to £3,000 the reed beds cost around £600 each and after I had purchased the system I had to purchase a pump which was £400.

The pump can be built into your Biodisc Treatment Plant when you purchase it. Mine sits external from it and the reason why I have it is to have my reed beds at ground level - still wondering??

Imagine you install you Biodisc and the outlet pipe is below the ground, the waste needs to get to your reed beds. This would be ok if you can put your reed beds lower that your outlet pipe of your tank so you can get a fall but i wanted mine at ground level so i needed a pump to pump the waste to the reed bed!!

I was advised after I had purchased the Bodisc that I should have contacted Klargester who makes them they would send someone out and do a site survey and then I would have known exactly what I needed!!

    Hope this helps!!
